Stamping their foot on the ground, the user pushes their chakra into the surrounding 20m of earth, causing it to rapidly heat up. This can prove useful to prevent targets from stepping on a certain area or break out of ambushes or situations when one is surrounded. The user must remain in the area, otherwise the technique will dissipate immediately and the earth will return to it's natural temperature. The maximum temperature the ground can reach is enough to sizzle leather, but not melt it or make it catch fire.
